I arrived at 9:45. Lin from JPL was at the gate. Lin is here to swap out the radiometers and make plans for future expansion of measurements. It was clear sunny and mild with gusty wind from the WNW. Still no rain and dry but maybe a little more dew recently. Broadleaf plants seem to have replaced much of the grass and look greener. There were even a few yellow flowers.

I did some housekeeping things while Lin worked on his stuff.

I added a radio sn 32468 to the IRT CR1000. I changed the CR1000 PakBus address to 49 to match the last two digits of its serial number sn 66249. I set up LoggerNet on the LattePanda to talk to it and was able to connect and download data. Later there was something weird happening where Loggernet was making files with a .backup extension for mostly the co2 profile system. Iâ€™m not sure whatâ€™s going on but seems like some kind of access conflict.

I downloaded and cleared the FD Chambers memories.

I measured the locations of the equipment in the soil co2 area.

I removed the Arable power line and spliced on a new line that gives it 12V from the terminal strip inside the data logger box. I moved the HMP45 fan power to the 24V strip â€“ the fan has been a 24V fan running on 12V for a while.

I removed unused wires and components from the old computer box at the base of the tower. Hopefully I can remove the box soon.

I swapped the battery on the Road Well Global Water data logger. I took off the 9Ah 12V SLA and put on a 3Ah 12V Lithium power bank. The lithium power bank wonâ€™t last as long but it wonâ€™t be damaged if it gets drawn all the way down.

At the end I moved two pieces of the tram track over to just outside of the Tower fence.

I left at about 13:15
