Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, sheep did a good job mowing alfalfa, tried to upgrade 7700 firmware - comm error
| 2019-02-12 Bouldin Alfalfa Kuno, Camilo, and I arrived at 13:20. It was cloudy, cold, and breezy. The sheep did a good job grazing the alfalfa—most of the plants are trimmed down to the soil. I downloaded met, FD, and USB GHG data (forgot to swap camera card). The wash reservoir was 1/3 empty; we refilled it. Camilo cleaned flux and rad sensors. I tried upgrading the 7700 firmware for sn TG1-0421 from 1.0.23 to 1.0.27, but during the initial file transfer step there was an error, “Fatal: Network Error: Connection Timed out.†We tried swapping for a different USB stick, but got the same error. LI-7500 readings: CO2 410ppm H2O 306ppm T 9.8C P 101.6kPa SS 98-->99 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.4ppm RSSI 48 --> 82 after cleaning We left at 14:00. |
