Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, no standing water at pond surface

East Pond

Daphne and Kyle arrived at approximately 12:30, and it was warm, clear, and slightly breezy. Katrina and Dennis were taking LAI measurements off of a boardwalk N of East End.

The staff gauge was at approximately 46 cm, but there wasn't much standing water at the surface, just muck. Kyle cleaned sensors, and Daphne collected USB, met, cam, miniDOT, and HOBO conductivity data. Kyle sprayed water on the solar panels to clean them off a little. The miniDOT and HOBO data sensors had to be dug back into the muck, because they wouldn't penetrate the pond surface easily just from lowering them from the boardwalk.

On arrival, the radiation boom was not screwed down, so the radiometer end of the boom was tipped toward the water, but Kyle screwed it down again. The 7700 water box was full and we topped it off.

At the East Pond outlet, Dennis observed standing water and recommended installing a staff gauge.
