We arrived at 14:40. It was overcast and cool with a gentle breeze. The field has been mowed and baled; they were picking up the bales while we were at the site. Kyle trimmed the alfalfa under the tower. We did not do LAI, clip plots, or veg height measurements.

At least two fields have been converted from corn to alfalfa this year. These are the fields on either side of the road when you turn off Highway 12.

The camera was pointing a bit high when we arrived (view was 1/3 ground and 2/3 sky); Elke adjusted the camera until the view was 1/3 sky and 2/3 ground). I also changed the camera names to the long name (â€œbouldinalfalfaâ€ instead of â€œBAâ€), but I think I need to check again to make sure the date in the name is in the correct format.

We swapped the 7500: sn 75H-2667 came down, and sn 0065 went up. I uploaded a new configuration file and updated the pressure coefficients. I also changed sonic output to 7550 (instead of connected to Smartflux2). I reset the LI-7550 box and collected Licor GHG data.

Elke cleaned the flux and rad sensors. I collected met and camera data. Kyle refilled the wash reservoir.
