Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, met CR1000 was unresponsive
| 2018-04-05 Sherman Wetland We arrived at 9:20. It was very windy, cool, and overcast. There are new cattail coming up around the tower. Elke refilled the wash reservoir; it was 1/5 full. Kyle cleaned the rad and flux sensors. The met datalogger was not running even though it was getting 12.5V: I couldn’t connect to it from the laptop, and we did not hear the multiplexer clocking through ports. I power-cycled the datalogger, but nothing changed. I removed the CF card and the CF card interface and reset the 12V power strip. The logger started back up so I downloaded the met data, which stopped on 2018-03-29 at 6:30. The met data seemed fine and we didn’t see anything obvious that points to why the datalogger froze. Joe suspects it’s a hang-up from the SDI-12 sensors and we should update the CR1000 OS. The camera CF card was also corrupted and we weren’t able to recover any photos from the past two weeks. I collected USB GHG data. LI-7500 readings: CO2 410.7ppm H2O 266ppm T 14.5C P 101.9 kPa SS 101 --> 102 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 1.95ppm RSSI 47 --> 79 after cleaning We left at 9:50. |
