Portable Tower
We arrived at the Low Veg portable tower site at about 10:00 PDT. It was windy, sunny, and cool. The water remains low at the Low Veg site. Downloaded data, took pictures and water samples at Low Veg. Moved the tower to the High Veg site. The water is low there as well. Took pictures, tower measurements, and water samples at High Veg.

Measurements after move to High Veg site:
Sonic N = 308 N magnetic.
Tower height = 396 cm from mid-sonic to bed of truck, 81 cm bed to berm, 30 cm berm to water = 5.07 m total

Readings
CO2: 396 ppm (after cleaning)
H2O: 756 mmol m-3 (after cleaning)
signal strength = Checked but didnâ€™t write down after cleaning
t: 23.82 Â°C
p = 101.8 kPa
sos = 346 m s-1
CH4: 1.98 ppm
RSSI: 72% (after cleaning)
Didnâ€™t check reservoir.

Permanent Tower
Water level remains normal/high. I checked the tower & downloaded data while Sara took water samples and cleaned the water instruments. We were planning to switch the forerunner co2 probe from single ended to differential, but there were not enough spots in the logger to do this, and the readings have been consistently fine here.

Readings:
CO2: 395 ppm (400 ppm after cleaning)
H2O: 640 mmol m-3 (654 after cleaning)
signal strength = 99.52% (100.66% after cleaning)
t: 26 Â°C
p = 101.8 kPa
sos = 347.3 m s-1
CH4 = 2.05 ppm (same after cleaning)
RSSI = 52% (69% after cleaning)
Reservoir was full.
Met looked good.
Cleaned rad. The rad boom over the water was dirty.
