Summary: Cattails continuing to fill in, water becoming muckier. Regular site visit. Cut back veg near boardwalk. Need wasp blockers for instrument booms.

We arrived about 13:00 PDT. It was sunny and hot with a very light breeze. Cattails continue to fill in the site. The dead bird and rat we saw in the water last time were gone. There was mucky stuff sitting on top of the water and starting to collect around the cattails stems.

Sara took water samples, cleaned the water instruments, and cut back the tall grass that was intruding upon the boardwalk to the tower. I attended to the tower and cleaned the flux and radiation instruments. We need caps for the instrument booms, wasps are becoming interested in making a home.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 15.4 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
H2O = 500 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
p = 101.6 kPa
t = 33.4 C
Diag: 248 (same after cleaning)

7700 readings:
CH4: 1.9 ppm
RSSI: 43% (87% after cleaning)
Reservoir was full.

MET looked good, although TC 24 was reading high, at 42 C.
Radiometers were dirty.
