Summary: Data download. Leveled sonic. Cut down veg surrounding tower.
| Wetland Construction 2013-08-05 We arrived around 10:35 PDT. It was sunny, breezy, and cool (19 C). Laurie and I checked the readings, cleaned the flux and radiation instruments, washed the solar panels, and downloaded data (camera, flux, and Met). I downloaded data because there was a card mixup last data collection and I wanted to make sure the card in there was good. Then we leveled the sonic (which was leaning toward the west) by raising the northwest scaffold leg. We also cut down some of the vegetation that has been growing rampantly around the tower and potentially creating an upward draft. 7500 readings: CO2 = 15.8 mmol m-3 (16.3 after cleaning) H2O = 670 mmol m-3 (640 after cleaning) Diag: 249 (same after cleaning) t = 22.6 C p = 101.4 kPa sos = 343.0 m s-1 MET looked good. |
