Twitchell Rice
2013-08-05

We arrived about 09:30 PDT. It was sunny, cool (20 C), and breezy. The water level was high again today, submerging one of the tower tripod legs. The rice continues to grow and is producing grain. There are hardly any weeds this year. I attended to the tower and did spectral while Laurie did clip plots.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 380 ppm (same after cleaning)
H2O = 640 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
signal strength = 80.15% (80.47% after cleaning)
t = 18.0 C
p = 102.0 kPa
sos = 344.0 m s-1

7700 readings:
CH4 = 1.9 ppm (same after cleaning)
RSSI = 53 (74 after cleaning)

MET data looked good except for CS615_SM1 which was reading INF. I checked the data and the sensor was fine not too long ago, so I will diagnose more next week and bring a replacement if we have one in the lab.
