Summary: Standard field work. Swapped out mixed up flux flash card with clean one. Otherwise, good.
| Sherman 2013-08-05 We arrived about 14:00 PDT. It was sunny, windy, and warm (24 C). The field looked generally the same the pepperweed is senescing but there is a patchy short green grass layer. I checked the tower, did well depth and spectral measurements while Laurie did moisture point and soil CO2 flux. I pulled flux flash card and put in a new clean card. I experienced some disorienting brain flatulence last download and accidentally put the card I pulled from the construction tower into the flux CR1000 and Sherman. Thus, we have no flux data for the past 10 days from Sherman, as the logger wont write to a card with data from another logger on it. Oops. LGR readings: 1.85 ppm, 14:16, 27.2 C, 132.0 Torr (adjusted to 147.5 Torr), 12.56 us, 10 Hz 7500 readings: CO2: 15.7 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) H2O: 660 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) diag: 248 p: 101.4 kPa t: 26.7 C MET looked good. Soil CO2 looked good. |
