Summary: Standard field work, collected all data - missed soil CO2 at Vaira, Collected soil samples for diffusion, Li800 pretty far off cal. Swapped 7500 at Vaira

Phenology: green grasses; no-leaf on oak trees; lots of
cows at both sites
Summary
- Checked and downloaded data from PC at Tower, Floor. No
PC at Vaira anymore and images were collected by cards in a CR1000. Met
and soil CO2 profile were downloaded by connecting to datalogger directly.
- Swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites. Everything
worked well.
- Calibrated CO2 profile system; Zero and span seemed
not stable.
- Collected soil samples for soil gas diffusion
experiments.
- Collected grass and litter samples for grass LAI and
litter dry weight.
- Read dendrometers
- Measured soil moisture
- Measure groundwater well:

Vaira_Grass Site
- Fence and gate power: 12 v
- Panel and Batteries: - v; - amps;
- amps.
- No PC at Vaira anymore and images were collected by
cards in a CR1000.
- Swapped the memory cards of CR1000.
- Swapped IRGA: sn 0418 came off and sn 0976 went on.
- Check the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors
at Vaira. YES!
- Met and soil CO2 profile data were downloaded by
connecting to datalogger directly. Missed downloaded soil CO2 profile data
although I connected the laptop to the grey cable in the PC box.
Attention needed next visiting.
- Check levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES!
- Check rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!
- Closed gate and set up fence. YES!
- Collected soil samples for soil gas diffusion
experiments.
- Collected grass and litter samples for grass LAI and
litter dry weight.
Tonzi_Tower Site
- Fence and gate power: 12 v.
- Panel and Batteries: - v;
- amps; - amps.
- Reading from Gillsonic screen before downloading data.
(The value of H2O and CO2 should be in the range of
0 – 5 v.)
- downloading data from PC.
- Swapped the memory cards of CR1000.
