I arrived about 2pm with Cove. It was cool, overcast with scattered showers. The Americorps were working along the road near the tower site. Lots of geese in the corn fields and in the air. We meet Jim at the trailer. He said the water would be turned off on our field in about two weeks. The alfalfa fields near the trailer have been cultivated and planted with a tri-mix.

The 7550 box date was off by 10 months. It was reading March 2012 when it should be January 2013. The day and time were fine though. The wash reservoir was nearly empty – we refilled it. The 7700 washed its mirror while we were there.

We did a quick check of West Pond. All was well there and the inlets were flowing.
