Summary: 7700 reservoir empty, adjusted settings. Took water samples. Downloaded data. All else well.

West Pond
2012-11-29

We arrived around 09:20 PST. It was breezy, cloudy, and cold. The water inlet showed a strong flow and the water below the tower was normal. The site appears senescent, with lots of gold and brown. Sara took water samples while Joe and I checked the tower and downloaded the data.

Current 7500 readings:
CO2 = 419 ppm
H2O = 604 mmol m-3
agc = 43.8
p = 102.8 (but 101.8 from the barometer, which was similar to the other sites)

7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.9 ppm (2.8 after cleaning)
RSSI = 5 (bumped to 76 after cleaning)

MET looked good.

The 7700 reservoir was empty, so we mostly refilled it and changed the heater settings to apply only from 4pm to 7am (instead of 24hr), and reduced the washer duration to 10 seconds from 20. The clocks were correct.
