Summary: Moved portable tower and swapped 7700s. Collected data, missed new CR23x data, serviced DO sensors, took water samples.

I arrived about 10:00PDT with Sara, Carina and Laurie. It was clear, sunny and warm. There was a breeze from the west that was decreasing. One of Kristin Byrd’s people was there servicing their plots.

We moved the portable tower from Location1 to Location 2. We removed the loaner 7700 and replaced it with our newly repaired 7700 sn TG1-0155. The sonic was aligned to true north. The USB drive was swapped and data collected. The 7700 RSSI was 89 so we did not clean mirrors. As we were driving away I thought to check if the new 7700 had been connected to the 7550 box in its software. We returned and checked finding that the new head had not connected to the box. We connected it and all should be well. The new 7700 has bird spikes on its radiation shield.

At the main tower I collected data. I forgot to collect the data from the CR23X - probably the most important data set this week. The 7700’s RSSI was 47 before cleaning and 74 afterwards. Sara and Laurie serviced the DO sensors replacing the fluid. Their readings still looked odd, but will check again next week. Carina took water samples.

The Vaisala probes in the water still seemed to be working reporting approximately 1200 and 880 mV.

The Tule CR23X is serial number 2143.
