Summary: Moved portable tower, collected water samples, collected tule tower data.

2012-08-09 I arrived about 10:30 PDT with Sara and Cove. It was clear, sunny and hot with a dying breeze from the west. No obvious changes in conditions from last week. We moved the portable tower from Location Two to Location One. I aligned the sonic to true north. The RSSI was 20 before cleaning and 77 afterwards. The 7550 is sn AIU-0397. At the main site Sara and Cove collected water samples. All was well at the tower. The RSSI was 47 before cleaning and 78 afterwards. I collected the Tule data that I missed last time. The deeper DO sensor was still reading high. We will bring a brush and vinegar and try to clean it a little better next time. I did not check the 7700 wash reservoirs but I expect they are close to full. |
