Summary: Collected data, standard field work, installed two more theta probes.

I arrived about 8:30 with Sara, Carina and Laurie. It was clear, sunny and cool with a breeze from the west, but it was warming quickly and the breeze was slowing. The field is mostly yellow, but a second flowering of pepper weed seems to be increasing. The ditches looked dry from the bridge.

I collected all data. The card failed to initialize on the CR1000 and Loggernet has been having trouble getting updates from the CR1000. The LGR data didnï¿½t seem to be getting the CR1000 reliably either. I restarted the LRG, the CR1000 and Loggernet, and I used Loggernetï¿½s file control tool to reformat the card. After this, all was well.

The LGR read:
8:34PDT, 21.08C, 131.94Torr, 15.012usec, 10Hz, 1.837ppm

I adjusted the bypass valve to bring the pressure up to 145.8Torr.

We added two Theta probes to the soil co2 system. No changes were needed in the program as the channels were allocated last week. Theta probe sn 139/052 went in slot 3 and sn 54/001 went in slot 4. Slot 2 has sn 54/007.

Sara, Laurie and Carina did the standard field work.
