Summary: Moved portable tower, checked main tower.

2012-05-17 I arrived about 9am with Jaclyn and Emily G. It was mostly sunny and mild with a gusty breeze from the west. The scattered pepper weed is blooming. The wetland plants continue to grow. The water level in our check is up another 8-10 cm making the total rise about 16cm. Bryan Brock said he may have added a 2x6 to the outlet. The portable tower was running and the battery voltage was about 12.2V, the panel (facing west) was give about 2A and the load was 1.7A. The 7700’s RSSI was about 40. We moved the truck to a spot just northwest of the center of the wet land. After the move the RSSI was about 20 and after cleaning the mirrors it was about 50. The wash reservoir only took a little water. Maybe I can do a better job cleaning the mirrors next time. We swapped the USB memory. We checked on things at the permanent tower. The RSSI there was about 20. After cleaning it was about 90. The wash reservoir was almost full. Jaclyn cleaned the radiation sensors and the DO sensors. Emily collect water samples. |
