I arrived at about 10:30 PDT. It was sunny, warm and breezy. I could not get the lock on the outer gate to open. Patty's crew where here yesterday to do the regular data download and didn't mention any trouble. I ended up being able to loosen one nut and remove a bolt to get the whole gate latch to pivot and open the gate. I only tightened the one larger nut and did not replace the pin bolt on the way out. I will ask Patty if any weirdness with the lock occurred.

Tide was just coming in. In fact I caught a flow coming across the mud just north of the boardwalk.

Patty's group had a bad USB to serial adapter yesterday so I downloaded the met data today. The shadow band was also not turning. I had messed with it about four weeks ago and Dennis two weeks ago. I turned up the motor controlled a little bit and it started to spin again. It was a little less the 30sec for a half rotation. We will see if it gets stuck again.

I cleaned a bunch of spider webs off the eddy sensors.

Water level was 4.22ft at 10:49

I left at about 10:50
