Summary: Uploaded new soil CO2 program with all sensors operating intermittently, made preliminary chamber measurements, installed soil collars, and attempted to sync dataloggers with the computer for scheduled collection.

Arrived at the site around 9:30 am with Melanie and Gavin. Gavin went to his field sites to collect soil cores. His sites were largely flooded.
I attempted to sync the dataloggers with the computer for scheduled collection. It worked for all but the CR10X1_met, but I know where I made the mistake so I will fix next time I am in the field (05/21/2012). The time on the computer was on daylight savings time so I reset it to standard time at 11:41 Pacific daylight time.
I downloaded the latest soil CO2 data before uploading a new program to operate all CO2 sensors intermittently to minimized issues of heat contamination.
Then Melanie and I made some preliminary soil chamber measurements (without collars). We measured 4 replicates two times each. Afterwards we installed 4 collars (two near each CO2 profile) for subsequent measurements.
We left Sherman around 1 pm to go meet Joe, Jackie, and Emily at the corn site.
