In 31 Aug 2007, I went to Tonz/Vairai sites by myself. I measured spectral reflectance and LAI. At Vaira site, I only measured reflectance around LED sensor and the flux tower. All grass is dead so I did not measure under trees. For Tonzi site, I measured reflectance in reference 1&2 grasses and LAI around tram system. Unfortunatelly, sky was quite cloudy espcecially around sun. It made difficult to measure reflectance, and I realized all collected data showed unreasoable values (i.e. reflectance>1). I was very sad to lose all data, but I got a lesson that I should check weather forecase before planning to head to the field site. Extremely dry and hot. Cloudy sky, moderate wind at the top of flux tower. Tram did work. I left Berkeley 14:15, arrived in Vaira 17:00 (heavy traffic jam), arrived Tonzi 17:40, and left Tonzi 20:20.
