Summary: Radiometers dirty, measured camera height
2024-10-10 Hill Slough Carlos and I arrived at 12:15 PST. It was mild with high thin clouds and a mild breeze. There was a cormorant on the rad boom when we arrived. Water level was mid-ish and the staff gauge read 4.7ft at 12:38 PST. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. Carlos cleaned flux and rad sensors and shook some detritus out of the precip bucket. He reported that Swin, LWin, and PAR in were covered with a dried white liquid—dried bird poop. Don't see a huge drop in the radiometer data though. The reservoir was 90% full; he refilled it. I changed the eddy clock +1:30min from 12:29:45 to 12:31:15 PST to match the laptop time, and restarted logging afterwards. The picam is 416cm agl – might be important for view angle The 7500 read: 417ppm CO2, 619mmol/m3 H2O, 25.1C, 101.6kPa, 99SS - 103 after cleaning The 7700 read: 1.98ppm CH4, 47RSSI - 83 after cleaning I measured the porewater and surface water conductivity. Porewater, 7.55mS, 22.5C Surface, 5.72mS, 22.0C The EXO will be due for calibration at our next site visit. We left at 12:40 PST. |
