Kuno and I arrived at about 15:30 PDT. I think I saw piles of compost in the northwest corner of the property near Irish Hill road. This might be part of the soil amendment program but it won't cover the area where our tower is. It was mild with some high thin clouds but still very dry and dusty. The trees here look much greener and leafier that the trees at Tonzi.

Kuno measured the well (I think he said it was 59.0) but I forgot to write it down. He also tried dumping the analyzer tubing down the well to see if he could detect elevated CO2/CH4 but got ambient readings. The length of the tubing is small compared depth of the well. I did the standard data collection: flux, met, FD and camera data. All seemed well.

We went to the pond. The water level is low and the top of the last staff gauge is visible but covered in muck so I could not read it. There were some cows at the far end of the pond. There were some cows in the phenocam photos too.

We left at about 16:00 PDT
