Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, measured camera height

Arman and I arrived at 12:30 PST. It was warm and sunny with a breeze outside of the canopy. The staff gauge read 53cm. We could hear some sea lions hanging out in the San Joaquin River. Not too many wasps buzzing around today, although I didn't check the inside of the box I sealed last time.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. Arman cleaned flux and rad sensors. He also checked the precip bucket – clean. The reservoir was half full and it was refilled.

I downloaded the miniDOT data and changed its desiccant. I tried to set its clock, but miniDOTControl.jar couldn’t access the time server even though I had tethered my phone to the field laptop. This is an older version of the miniDOT (no mini-USB port), so only “miniDOTControl.jar” from the folder Distribution-CD-Rev-1.11 launched successfully. “miniDOTSetHostTIme.jar” did not launch. The newer versions of miniDOTControl.jar could not see that a miniDOT was connected. Joe suggested bringing in this miniDOT so we can try to set it in the lab.

I measured the surface water conductivity.

The picam was 563cm agl – might be important for view angle. This is the "new" picam at the new (raised) scaffolding height. I should try to estimate the heights of the two picams during the intercomparison.
