Summary: Charlotte doing terrestial Lidar, pulled soil sensors for impending plowing, photo of 7700 for equipment audit.

Megan, Sophie and I arrive at about 17:30 PDT. This was intended as a quick stop to take an inventory photo of the 7700 for the equipment audit. Charlotte and another Silver lab member were there doing terrestrial Lidar. Charlotte was told that the field would be plowed tomorrow and was rushing to get all the Lidar done. Some of the fields on the west of the side of the island seem to have been planted already. I decided removing our soil sensors was warranted. We didn’t have any digging tools but Sophie and Megan didn’t hesitate to start digging with their bare hands.

We pulled all three sets of sensors and left them coiled under the tower. We didn’t have tools to reinstall them, I guess a week or two of bad/missing data will have to do. Sensors removed:
