Dennis and I arrived around 16:30 PST. It was overcast, cool, and getting dark. We’ve had a string of atmospheric river storms since late December. More storms with potentially high wind are expected this weekend and next week. There were lots of geese flying overhead and many red-winged blackbirds fluttering around. Cows were on the alfalfa fields just west of the overpass.

The staff gauge read 51cm.

I just downloaded data here on Tuesday, so I decided this should just be a quick stop to redeploy the picam we took down a few days ago. Both boardwalks had been removed earlier this week for storm prep, and we left them on the ground for now.

I redeployed sn RPI0W-003. It was a new microSD card and Joe put the fwb code (r=1.8 b=1.8) on it. It booted fine and I leveled its view.

I connected to the CR1000 to quickly check the met data. NDVI was NAN and a power cycle on the sensors did not make a difference. The shadowband was not spinning—I manually pushed the band to try to restart it, but it did not start spinning. Might need a new motor. Not much vegetation activity now so I will keep working on these next time.

The 7550 box had blinking lights as expected.

Dennis topped off the wash reservoir.

We left at 17:05 PST. There were some cows on the levee road but they shuffled away as we got close.
