Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, reservoir still emptying after 2 weeks but not sure why, removed Apogee NDVI_in/out sensors, dfPAR data was weird--fixed I think

I arrived at 13:20 PST. It has now been a year since the start of COVID shelter-in-place orders. It was a mild and slightly breezy day with blue skies and hazy horizons. The staff gauge read 41cm.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. I swapped the desiccant for the miniDOT and water level sensors. I cleaned flux and rad sensors.

The wash reservoir was almost empty; I refilled it. I tested the 7700 spray but could not find any leaks. I’m not sure why this reservoir water is getting used so quickly compared to other sites. From the RSSI data, it looks like the sensor was only cleaned once in the past 2 weeks. Maybe the reservoir itself is leaking somewhere?

The Apogee NDVI_in sensor has had consistent problem with NANs in the past few months. This time I also saw quite a few NANs in the Apogee NDVI_out and dfPAR data columns in the past week. All 3 sensors are wired to C3, so I think the NDVI_in sensor is messing them all up. I removed the two Apogee sensors sn 1053 and sn 1054 and brought them back to the lab for testing. This left only dfPAR on C3.
