5/13/2010 Arrived about 8:00 with Siyan and Melanie. Cool, clear, windy. West wind making it feel cold. The sign generator was down, talked to Bruce who said it was out of gas and would be filled shortly. The LGR and computer were down but all others running on batteries. Removed web cam for swap at Vaira. Left about 9:00 for Tonzi Returned about 3pm on way home from Tonzi. Hot, little wind. The generator was running but the air conditioner had stopped with a clean filter light and the box was super hot. The LGR was reporting 48C and CO2 had not line locked. I reset the linelock parameter to 0.205 and CO2 locked. The computer also had problems. It stopped recognizing the usb to serial converters. I couldn't figure out its problem so I pulled it to check in the lab. All data safe on data logger flash memories. The air conditioner compressor seemed like it would not start so I propped open the box's doors for the night and planned return tomorrow to fix things. |
