5/11/2010 Arrived about 9:30am. Clear, sunny, wind from northwest made it cool. Rice is a green haze on the field. Probably a couple more weeks before flooding. Some herbicide will be sprayed on the field before flooding. I removed a set of three solar panels that were not connected to the charge controller from the old location for use at the Sherman levee site. Power was out at the tower. Vibration from the generator had knocked loose the power plug from the inverter. Looking at the data this May have happened on May 7th and someone fixed it, then again on May 10th. I moved the inverter away from the generator and used silicone to keep the plug in place. All but LGR ran on batteries during two brief power outages. LGR came up in slow flow mode. USB memory on LI7700 quit on first power outage. LGR did not line lock on start up. I reset the line lock parameter higher and it locked. Shutdown and restart to save settings. LI7700 washer fluid reservoir empty, filled to top with DI water. I collected some sample data from the serial output of the LI7700 for development of CR1000 code. Swapped CR1000 card and collected met data. LGR readings: 11:42, 17.10C, 139.17Torr, 14.093usec, 10Hz, 1.8514ppm, 8180.56ppm, 395.26ppm I adjusted the bypass valve to bring pressure to 143.20. Finished properly putting LI7700 power cords through box wall. Went to Frank’s site about 11:45. His power was to be setup today and I gave him some instructions on setting up the LGR. Left from Sherman about 12:30. |
