Summary: Anders Ameriflux inter-comparison, LI7500 swap, IRT sensors cow chewed, two new N2 tanks.

5/13/2010 Met Andres at the Ione Hotel about 10am and headed for Tonzi. Arrived about 10:30 with Siyan and Melanie. Warm, clear and sunny, little breeze. Lots of flowers, still relatively wet and green. Siyan swapped LI7500 on tower and Andres started setting up Ameriflux equipment. Not LI7000 but LI7500 and LI7200 and laptop so will need to run generator. The generator has a spill pan. I swapped cards in z-cams. Downloaded data from supplemental floor radiometers. Checked IRT CR10x. Data looked like garbage. I brought in sensors, data logger and battery for testing in lab. Tram was running. Swapped N2 tank for co2 profile system and left another N2 tank for Ameriflux. Will need CO2 soon. I removed the spare IRGA/Sonic mount from the top of the tower. Left for Vaira about 1pm - Andres still at work. |
