I arrived at 11:10 PDT. It was a warm and breezy day. As I arrived, a farm employee (Ben?) stopped and said they would start irrigating soon via the spud ditches. Most of the corn plants look good; the volunteer area has shorter plants with skinnier leaves and brown tips on the leaves.

The wash reservoir was mostly full; I topped it off. I saw two new game cameras on the tower, installed by Arable. One is looking out toward the horizon and one is looking down toward the ground. I cleaned flux and rad sensors.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, zcams, and FD data. I cleared both FD chambers after downloading them. I also took 5 clip plots samples, veg height measurements, and 2-wand LAI measurements.

There were no data on the PA card. I added a new microSD cable, but it was hard to confirm that the cable plugged in securely. I took the PA down from its hose clamps to check that the cable was plugged in and left it on the boardwalk for about 20 minutes. I saw a few log files on the card so the new cable works. However, I might have jostled the cable when I clamped the PA back onto the tower, so hopefully there will be data on the card next time.

Corn plants look good, except for the dense area with volunteer plants. The volunteers are shorter, lighter green, and have thinner leaves with browning tips.
