Summary: Regular data download/collection, cold and foggy, removed 2 outlet boards, serviced water sensors, updated 7700 wash spin settings
| 2020-01-07 East Pond Joe, Camilo, and I stopped first at the outlet to pull more boards. We pulled 2 board and cleared out some of the vegetation in and around the outlet. There are more boards, but they weren’t coming out easily, so we left them for now. We arrived at the tower 12:35 PST. It was a cold and foggy day with a little breeze. The wetland is brown and the water level was 53 cm. Joe and I downloaded met, camera, USB, and miniDOT data. Joe swapped desiccants for the water level sensor and the miniDOT. I changed the 7700 wash spin from 10 sec to 30 sec to allow enough time to spin away the spray water (7700 wash spray remained at 10 sec). The 7500 and 7700 clocks looked ok. The 7700 optics was 22%, so we should keep an eye on it. The wash reservoir was mostly full; we did not refill it. Camilo cleaned flux and rad sensors. LI-7500 readings: CO2 450ppm H2O 360ppm T 7.8C P 102.4kPa SS 100--> 101 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 3.16ppm RSSI 38--> 72 after cleaning We left at 12:55 PST. |
