Summary: Check on new setup, add solar batteries, collect data.

Mayberry

I arrived about 9am with Jaclyn. It was windy and cool with some overcast towards the coast but clear to the east. The water level was much higher in Unit 1 to the south of our tower and a little higher in Unit 2 where our tower is located.

Things seemed to be running okay. The batteries were reporting 13.2V. The LI7700 numbers seems a little strange though. The RSSI value was very low around 1 or 2%. After cleaning the mirrors with rubbing alcohol the RSSI only rose to about 30% and the CH4 ppm was low around 1.74ppm. We swapped the card and I took the system down to add two new batteries to the solar system.

After adding the batteries and repowering the system, the LI7700 numbers were much better with RSSI near 80% and CH4 near 1.9ppm. I also changed the CR1000 program to add five variables to display the LI7700 data in correct units.

The silicon I brought was all dried up so the wire holes still need to be sealed.

Jaclyn pounded in the stake holding the rear foot of the solar panels.

We measured the distance to the well from the data logger box.
