Summary: Initial set up of measurments, flux only.
| Mayberry 2010/10/14 I arrived about 11:30 with Dennis and Jaclyn. It was hot with little wind from the north. Some high thin clouds kept it from being unbearably hot. The water level seemed slightly higher than last week. Lots of birds along the edges of the water. We began the setup of a tower on the south east island in Unit 2. From the post construction survey data the Byran sent me I put the location at: 38.0497696N, 121.7650601W, -3.147568m With a well at 38.0498153N, 121.7650742W, -4.108704m This is approximately 5.22 meters to the northwest of the tower and about 0.96m below the tower. Equipment: LI7500 sn 0073 LI7700 sn TG1-0100 (loan from Licor) Gill WMP sn 000022 plus PCI HMP45 sn U3030041 CR1000 sn ???? (loan from Frank) Three 75W solar panels sn 020854E-6-03-02-06832, sn 024398E-1-26-04-99974, sn 020854E-6-03-02-06825 Two 160min reserve batteries Morningstar ProStar 30A solar charge controller |
