Sherman Barn: 2019-04-18 13:45:00 (DOY 108)
Author: Daphne Szutu

Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, swapped 7500 for calibration, spectral, many cows + 1 snake in pasture
2019-04-18 Sherman Barn Alex, Jiangong, and I arrived at 13:45. It was a warm and sunny day with blue skies (some cirrus clouds). There were cows standing right next to our tower. We saw a snake on the west side of the tower; it was about 1 m long and probably a garter or gopher snake. Alex took spectral measurements (files #88-97). The wash reservoir was 2/3 full; we topped it off. Jiangong cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and game camera (had to reset clock) data. SWin/out and PARin/out look ok after rewiring last week. NR01 PRT still looks ok since 2019-03-14. We swapped the 7500 for calibration: sn 75H-2180 came down and sn 75H-2669 went up. After the swap, I uploaded a new configuration file, updated the pressure coefficients, and reset the 7550 box. After the reset, I checked that the 7700 was still connected, but noticed that the LI-7550 still said the old sn. I re-loaded the 7500 configuration file, updated the pressure coefficients, and reset the box; everything looked ok afterwards. LI-7500 readings (sn 75H-2180 --> sn 75H-2669): CO2 420ppm --> 531 H2O 566ppm --> 755 T 25.7C --> 26.0 P 102.1kPa --> 102.0 SS 98--> 108 LI7700 readings: CH4 2.03ppm RSSI 45 --> 74 after cleaning We left at 14:15. |
