Summary: regular data download and maintenance | logger/mux re-screew | sonic heading measurement (355 deg N) | MET program update

Dennis, Joy, and I arrived at Bouldin Corn at ~0900. It was hazy and windy. The corn has filled the field and is happily growing.

At the tower, I collected the MET, flux, purple air, and camera data. The camera card had all data on it, and I inserted the new card in. PA was already dangling out of its enclosure, I retrieved the data, power cycled it, and put it back in. I also collected CR1000 extra table for NETRAD testing. After MET download, I uploaded the new CR1X program "BC_Met_20240717.CR1". It compiled successfully in pipeline mode and the station status looks good (e.g., card OK). Then, I downloaded two z-cam data.

The LI77 box was full. Dennis cleaned the MET and flux sensors. It was gusty, and the wind blew the USB stick right off of my hand. Joy was able to find it later. I reset the flux clock, which was ~1.5 min behind. Afterwards, I restarted the logging.

7500 read: 417ppm CO2, 580mmol/m3 H2O, 19.5 C, 101.1kPa, 99.5SS --102.8
7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 54RSSI – 81 after cleaning

I tried to check the phenocam clock, but there's no ethernet carble there for connection. I retightened all screws on CR1X and mux, some terminals on mux were loose. I measured the sonic heading: 355 deg N.

Dennis measured the well water level and it was dry. He also removed the 3 bunjee cords from the tower. We then removed the theta probe and reputty the enclosure.

Joy took the veg height, mean = 83.88 cm | st.dev = 15.04 cm

We left the field at ~1020 and went to Bouldin alfalfa.
