Summary: Calibrated 7700, cleaned outlet drain, collected USB GHG data
2018-10-25 East Pond Joe and I arrived at 13:40 for a maintenance trip. It was sunny and warm, with clouds near the horizon. Joe cleared the outlet drain and observed a tidal wave draining out. We should try to check it at least every month. When we left the site, the water level was about 88 cm. We closed the inlet by 2 turns on our way out. (Note 2020-10-14 by Daphne: I think this staff gauge reading is a typo. Based on the water level sensor, the staff gauge should have read 78.) We calibrated the LI-7700, sn TG1-0211. Before calibrating, Joe cleaned the sensor thoroughly, including the cap. After calibration, I confirmed in the 7550 software that the 7700 was connected, the correct GHG columns were selected, and the USB was logging. The USB stick had Licor GHG data since 10/4. LI7700 readings: (before cleaning --> after cleaning --> after calibration) CH4 2.09ppm --> 2.11 --> 2.06 RSSI 57 --> 74 --> 72 LI-7500 readings: CO2 405ppm H2O 516ppm T 28.0C P 102.1kPa SS 97 I downloaded the met data. AirT and PARin had some NANs, so I planned to swap the multiplexer AM 16/32. I noticed the AirT bare wire had only a few strands left, so I re-stripped it and hope that solves the problem for AirT. I held off on swapping the multiplexer for now. We left at 14:35. |
