Summary: Reset water well with perforations, finished assemling second solar base.

7/1/2009 Arrived about noon time. Clear, sunny, windy. Rice look great. Taller, less weeds. Lowered the angle on western set of solar panels. Discovered that the charge controller had been set for gel batteries. Switched it to flooded. Solar amps went from 2.5 to 19 with switch. Solar controller only shows solar amps being used not available. Reset the water table well. Driller holes about every 2 inches along opposite sides of the pipe and replaced. Maybe a couple of inches of muck in the bottom. Length of pipe is 122cm (48”), 15cm from ground surface to top of pipe. Water level at 5cm from top of pipe. Bottom of sensor 113 cm from top of pipe. Added voltage sensor to solar batteries and wired to 23x, but did not change 23x program. Multiplier is 3. 12V as batteries is read as 4V at 23x. Finished painting and assembling second solar panel base. |
