Summary: Ran LGR on generator, computer not running.

6/26/2009 Arrived about 9am with Jaclyn. Clear, sunny, going to be warm. Little to no breeze, later afternoon breeze was from northeast. Rice looks good, more water on the field now about double in depth. Lots of invertebrates in the water, many wading birds in the area. Met Matteo in afternoon on our way back from Sherman. Set up CH4 system same as previous runs. Jaclyn did LI6400 ACI measurements I finished painting new solar base. Moved to berm. Computer not running again, seems to have shutdown soon after we left last time. Battery was at 87%, notices on screen switching to AC mode. Computer runs fine the entire time we are in the field. CR23x battery voltage close to 10V in early morning, maybe – hard to believe there is not enough power. Solar panels seem to be outputting low power, maybe dirty, need bucket and sponge for next visit. Big backhoe/shovel working along east edge of the field. Trenching, compacting and backfilling to prevent seepage to the east. Matteo has the CR1000 data. |
