We arrived at 12:35. It was sunny and clear, but the horizons were hazy and could barely see the outline of Mt. Diablo. Surprisingly, the field has not been mowed.

I collected met, camera, USB GHG, and FD data. Sam took veg height measurements and cleaned the flux and rad sensors. He also polished the Arable dome with some toothpaste. Alex took 2-wand LAI measurements. Sam and I took spectral measurements. We skipped clip plots because there hasnâ€™t been much new biomass in the last 2 weeks (could still clearly see the clip plot patches from 2 weeks ago).

After I downloaded the FD data, I cleared the data and then power-cycled it. The FD chamber again did not start up again power-cycle even though I waited at least 2 minutes between power-off and power-on. I checked voltage in (12.4V). Last time we had this issue, the chamber worked fine when I plugged it in back in the lab. I left it in the field this time because Iâ€™m curious to see if it would start by itself.

RSSI 52ppm --> 74ppm after cleaning

We left at 13:20.

After looking at the data back in the lab, BA HMP60 might be drifting (relative to BC HMP60). We should keep an eye on it.
