We arrived at 11:55. It was sunny and clear, but the horizons were hazy. Tyler and Heather were also at the site installing soil moisture and soil O2 sensors.

I collected met, camera, and USB GHG data. I also cleaned the flux and rad sensors and polished the Arable dome with toothpaste, which looked a bit better. The Theta soil moisture probe was out of the soil; I reburied it at the soil surface.

Alex took 2-wand LAI data: BC0905SC, BC180905. Sam took veg height measurements.

CH4 1.94ppm
RSSI 49ppm --> 86ppm after cleaning

We left at 12:25.

Looking at the data back in the lab, it seems like the HMP60 could be drifting down (or BA HMP60 is drifting up). We should keep an eye on it.

We polished the Arable dome with some toothpaste, before (left) and after (right). It's a little better. The darker area in the "before" picture is where Joe cleaned the dome with rubbing alcohol two weeks earlier.
