We arrived at 9:30. It was sunny, hazy, and cool. There were many geese on the fields east of the tower.

Elke cleaned rad sensors and took spectral measurements. Rory took veg height measurements. Kyle did soil respiration. He removed some grass plants from collar 5 before measuring soil respiration, which disturbed soil in the process. There was a high humidity warning; the ground was pretty wet.

I collect met, soil CO2, camera, and USB GHG data. I cleaned the 7500, which had a lot of dew. I removed the golden HMP60 sensor (sn G4540021 came down). I updated the CR1000 met program to reflect the removal of the golden HMP60 sensors. The current program is AlfalfaTowerMet_20170510.CR1. I checked the data afterwards and the numbers looked reasonable.

H2O 1070 mmol/m3 --> 472 after cleaning

SS 31 --> 104 after cleaning

We left at 10:15.
