Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, swapped LI-7550

West Pond

We arrived at 10:15. It was sunny and cool with thin, high, wispy clouds. The road by the tower is much drier, and the truck tires no longer pick up a thick layer of mud. The wetland is brown and East Pond has been blown down quite a bit. West Pond has some blow down around the tower.

I collected met, camera, and USB GHG data. I also swapped the water level sensor desiccant and refilled the wash reservoir (it was half empty).

Kyle cleaned the EC and rad sensors and swapped LI-7550 box: sn AIU-0666 came down and sn AIU-1570 went up. I renamed the box from AIU-1570 to WP-1570. I uploaded the config file for LI-7500 sn 2180. Elke put in the correct pressure coefficients. I had checked the data column in the lab, but I'll double check these in the field next time.

The 7700 and 7550 had a clock sync error after the swap. I reset the box but the error was still there. I toggled the 7700 clock from auto --> slave --> auto and restarted the box; the sync error was gone.

We left at 10:45.
