Summary: Reinstalled water CO2, tall veg in sensors, tractor work on levees.

West Pond
2017-08-16

Ada, Daphne and I arrived at about 12:20. It was warm and sunny. They are still working on raising the levees on the north and east side on the pond. There is new dirt on both of those levees. The water inlets were running. The site is very green and the vegetation is tall. Some of the tules reach the radiometers and the 7700. I broke off the tules that I could reach. The solar panels are again in danger of being shadowed by vegetation.

Standard data collection. No problems with insects, but we added some fresh mothballs to the boxes.
The 7500 read: 384.2ppm CO2, 744.5mmol/m3 H2O, 25.6C, 100.9kPa, 94.9SS -> 98.3 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 52.3RSSI – 84.7 after cleaning.

We installed a new Eosense water CO2 probe sn GP20140018.

We left at about 1pm.

[Notes added 2017-10-24 by Daphne: We upgraded LI-7550 sn AIU-0666 from 8.0.0 to 8.7.5, skipping 8.5.0.]
