Sherman Wetland
2017-08-16

Ada, Daphne and I arrived at about 9:30. It was cool, sunny and windy. The water level is a little lower but at about its normal level.

We swapped the 7500. The one on the tower sn 75H-2182 was a temporary step to fix a bad combination of head and coefficients. We are swapping in a freshly calibrated one sn 75H-2667
Sn2182: 387.4ppm CO2, 675.5mmol/m3 H2O, 20.3C, 101.4kPa, 85SS
Sn2667: 398.9ppm CO2, 628.9mmol/m3 H2O, 20.7C, 101.4kPa, 105SS

The 7700 read: 2.02ppm CH4, 39.4RSSI – 71.8 after cleaning.
The wash reservoir was at 4/5 and was refilled.

On the 7550 under site setup Daphne reset the CO2 and CH4 logs to factory default and reselected our preferred channels. This was trying to fix the mismatch in the data files between the headers and the data. We also reset the 7550 box. No clock sync error from the 7700 today.

We swapped the Eosense water CO2 probe. The existing one did not have its cable connector water proofed. The probe removed was sn GP20150101 and the on installed is sn GP20140016. The serial number has worn off on the probe that was removed. The new probe was connected to the data logger with the gray and blue wires for analog signals.

I tightened the tie down on the northwest corner of the tower.

I cleaned the conductivity sensor with a stick and cable tied it to the scaffolding leg in a horizontal postion.
