I arrived about 2:30pm with Daphne. It was a mild and slightly hazy afternoon. No sheep to be seen, but the field looks awful â€“ lots of weeds, thistle and nettle. We were going to stop at this field last week but we noticed there was a small tractor spraying something (maybe fertilizer) on the field to the east.

We reinstalled the Forced Diffusion chamber. It now has a pluggable power connector to make it easier to cycle its power. It seemed to start up and the pump was buzzing.

We were going to swap out the 4-way net radiometer, but as we loosened up its cables we noticed one was chewed nearly in two by sheep. There was enough length that we were able to cut off the chewed section and rewired it.

I added hemispherical SRS PRI sensors to the radiation boom. The incoming sensor is sn 913003006 and has SDI-12 ID A. The reflected sensor is sn 913003007 and has SDI-12 ID F. I put in some screw terminals to split out the power from the AM16/32 and data line to four SRS sensors.

Daphne collected the data and uploaded a new program to the met CR1000 to support the SRS PRI sensors.

Daphne cut some of the nettles around the tower.
