I arrived about 3pm with Sam and Dennis. It was clear sunny and warm. There was 50mm of rain last Friday through Sunday. The road along the field had damp spots where rain had puddled, but was passable. We walked through the field to the tower. The alfalfa is getting tall again. The ditch near the solar panels was empty of water.

There was a bunch of spider webs on the eddy equipment.
The 7500 read: 407ppm CO2, 550.6mmol/m3 H2O, 27.27C, 101.7kPa, 105.6SS
The 7700 read: 1.91ppm CH4, 20.0RSSI â€“ 73.6 after cleaning and 1.96ppm CH4
Sam and Dennis refilled the wash box.

Sam cleaned the radiometers and measured positions of the eddy equipment and radiometers. The sonic path is 3.9m from the ground, the 7550 is 0.19m from the sonic path, and the 7700 is 0.22m from the sonic path. I measured the sonic heading from true north at 245 degrees, want to double check this as it is 15 deg from Joe's past measure. The 7550 separation direction is 164 deg from true north, and the 7700 separation direction is 84 deg from true north. The radiometer is 1.94m from the scaffolding and is 2.76m above the ground.

I collected the data. The NDVI, PRI sensors have not been reading properly. They were not even in the Loggernet screen. I added them to the screen. Tightening the screw terminals where they are connected seem to fix the problem. We may want to break out the connection to an external terminal to reduce the number of wires in the existing terminals.

Dennis cleaned the solar panels and measure veg height in cm:
