Summary: Leveled tower, no camera data, veg height data
| Arrived 11:40. Sunny, warm, windy, clear sky with a bit of fog on the horizon. Field is flooded, some non-rice plants have sprung up around the tower. Filled methane wash water reservoir, was nearly full. Collected USB GHG data, collected met data from 23X, did not collect camera data because Joe will collect it 2016-07-07. Leveled the tower as best as possible in the squishy mud; sonic is now level. Measured veg height from bottom of plant (not from water height) in cm: 60, 52, 59, 54, 61, 54, 64, 54, 62, 65, 57, 60, 58, 57, 58, 56, 56, 55, 58, 64. Water height is about 28 cm. Took 5 clip plots of rice using a 400cm2 sampling square. Clipped rice from the bottom of the plant, not the top of the water. LI7500 readings CO2 388.27 H2O 586.5 T 21.93 P 101.76 ss 77.09 -> 82 LI7700 readings CH4 1.89 rssi 40 -> 65 left 12:30 |
