Summary: Upgraded eddy CR1000 OS to v27, measured water level at TC profiles
| EastEnd 2014-05-13 I arrived about 10:30 with Patty and Madeleine. It was clear, sunny and warm with just a breath of a breeze from the north. No change in site conditions was noticed. The 7500 read: 16.8mmol/m3 CO2, 612mmol/m3 H2O, 102.17kPa, 27.3C, 248diag The 7700 read: 2.02ppm CH4, 25.5C, 101.9kPa, 44.9RSSI -> 65 after cleaning. There were lots of spider webs streaming off the eddy sensors. We got them mostly cleared away. When I swapped the card on the eddy CR1000, I updated the OS from v21 to v27. I had to reset the CR1000’s IP address (169.254.97.98) and upload the program after the OS upgrade, but all went well. The new OS lets us use CFM cards up to 16GB. The new SanDisk Ultra 4GB card formatted in record time. The 7700 was reservoir was okay. We measured the water level at each of the soil/water TC profiles: North 36cm agl, West 37cm agl, South 58cm agl. Each of these profiles has TCs at 32 and 64cm agl, so it looks like the upper one is still above water. |
