Summary: Moved portable tower to south high veg site. Installed new boardwalk at permanent tower.

Portable Tower
Joe Madeleine and I arrived at the Low Veg (north) portable tower location at about 2:00 PDT. It was hot and sunny, no breeze. The tower seemed to be running fine, we downloaded data before turning off power and moving it to the High Veg (south) site. Joe hooked up a CR10x sn 35475 to record battery voltage and eventually some met data.

I took a GPS reading at the new site: N 38Â° 02.982' W 121Â° 46.203'
Joe oriented the sonic at 34 degrees true and took photos of the footprint.

reservoir was full.

CO2: 406 ppm
H2O: 332 mmol m-3
signal strength = 89.0% (89.0% after cleaning)
t: 36.0 Â°C
p: 101.9 kPa

CH4: 1.9 ppm
RSSI: 59% (87% after cleaning)
t: 32.0Â°C

Permanent Tower
Joe installed a new boardwalk on the lower level of the tower--makes tower more safe and accessible. Joe also tried to give more slack to lines, organize wires but thinks we need to address more fully another day. Joe put a new hose clamp on the camera post.

Otherwise, the site is looking nice and green. Things seemed to be working properly. Met looked fine.

Reservoir was full.

7500 readings:
CO2: 403.8 ppm
H2O: 348.0 mmol m-3
signal strength = 94.0% (95.0% after cleaning)
t: 31.3Â°C
p: 101.8 kPa

Current 7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.0 ppm
RSSI = 23% (62% after cleaning)
t: 30.9Â°C
p: 101.8 kPa
