Summary: Alfalfa mown but not bailed. Data download. Took GPS reading of site location.
| Twitchell Alfalfa 2013-08-14 We arrived at 10:45 PDT. It was sunny, breezy and warm (25 C). The alfalfa has been mown but not bailed. There remained a swath of unmown alfalfa under the radiation boom, which we cut down by hand. I downloaded data, and finally made a new Alfalfa-specific Loggernet connection for the Met CR1000. 7500 readings: CO2 = 400 ppm (same after cleaning) H2O = 540 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) SS = 93.1% (93.5% after cleaning) T = 27.8 C p = 101.4 kPa sos = 349.6 m s-1 MET looked good. Radiation looked good. I took a GPS reading of the tower location: N 38 06.904', W 121 38.802', -9 m |
